Nikhil is a software engineer with five years of experience building and operating production systems spanning infrastructure, backend engineering, and customer-facing product. Prior to Emerald AI, he worked at Amazon on edge traffic engineering and ingress routing, focused on safer traffic shifting, modernizing security defaults, and improving operational reliability. Previously at Credit Karma and Intuit (Mint), Nikhil built high-traffic product surfaces backed by rigorous analytics and experimentation, partnering closely with mobile and platform teams while also contributing to internal infrastructure and data/ML-adjacent platforms. He’s biased toward shipping, instrumenting, and iterating to drive measurable outcomes. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
